Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Officer to strengthen our compliance and governance operations. This role plays a strategic part in evaluating regulatory requirements, monitoring legal frameworks, and ensuring that our internal systems and external content remain fully aligned with global gambling and consumer-protection laws.
This is a key position for a professional with in-depth knowledge of online gambling legislation, regulatory jurisdictions, data-protection statutes, AML/KYC enforcement, and responsible gaming policies. You will collaborate with legal specialists, anti-fraud analysts, cybersecurity experts, and risk managers to support compliance documentation, strengthen audit structures, and enforce ethical standards across all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor international gambling legislation, AML directives, and regulatory updates
- Create, refine, and enforce compliance policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct risk evaluations, policy audits, and legal compliance assessments
- Work closely with cybersecurity and risk teams to validate platform legitimacy
- Review bonus terms, operational policies, and data-protection controls
- Prepare compliance briefings, reporting documents, and regulatory submissions
- Train internal staff on legal compliance, consumer-protection rules, and responsible play standards
- Collaborate with external counsel, auditors, and regulatory authorities
- Investigate and action compliance issues, escalating legal concerns where necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Corporate Governance, or related field
- Experience within iGaming, fintech, cybersecurity, digital regulation, or financial compliance
- Expertise in global gambling laws, licensing processes, AML/KYC enforcement, and consumer-protection policies
- Familiarity with GDPR, AML frameworks, ISO standards, and digital integrity regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate legal principles into operational guidance
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote global environment while managing complex compliance programs
- Additional legal/compliance certifications are considered an advantage
